Homework
haStudents have homework everyday. Students are responsible for copying the homework in their planners daily. Parents should check homework and behavior and sign planners daily. Students who don't finish their homework will do it during their recess and lunch play time. Five missed or incomplete homework assignments will equal a detention.
Language Arts:
Reading-read for 30 min. everyday and have parent sign planner
Spelling, Grammar, Writing:
Monday=write a description or define all the words (must be in your own words). make sure to write multiple meanings if applies/escribe descripciónes o define todas las palabras (tiene que ser en tus propias palabras). una palabra puede tener mas de una definicion
Tuesday=write derivatives and inflections (past, present, future) for all words and choose 7 spelling words to write synonyms / escribe los derivados de todas las palabras y escoge 7 palabras para escribir sinónimos
Wednesday= write sentences with words 1-15 using your spelling words include who, what , when, where, why and circle grammar skill.
Also fill in 5 spelling words into context sentences (teacher given) /escriban oraciones con palabras 1-15 con quien, que, cuando, donde, porque y los estudiantes deben de circular el concepto de gramática en la oracion. Tambien pone palabras en contexto (la maestra escribe las oraciones)
Thursday=Writing depending on the writing in class / escritura depende en la escritura de clase
Friday= write each word and circle the target sounds and comprehension review /escribe las palabras y circula los sonidos en cada palabra y una pagina de comprension.
Internet is wireless and sometimes it doesn't work, I tell the students to copy words because you never know with technology!
Students are no longer having Spelling Homework.
Students are to do 30 min. of Moby Max reading and 15 min. of Moby Max Math.
They will continue to have math pages for practice dailly.

2. rule – rules, ruled, ruling, ruler S=law, regulation

*If you can’t find a synonym, then write NW=No words were found
Wednesday
Sentences 1-10 (Who, What, When, Where, Why) and or circle grammar skill. Ex. Nouns
Finish the teacher given context sentences by putting in the correct sentence in context.

Writing depending on the writing in class. Try using spelling words and underline the words/ escritura depende en el tipo de escritura trata de usar palabras de la lista. Subraya las palabras
One day we were going to get our lunch in the hall and our teacher noticed that students were talking and not following the rules. So she asked us to stay quiet in the line. Then a student wasn’t paying attention and she fell on the steps. She accidently dropped her lunch and spilled her juice. I quickly went to help her and she went to get another lunch. Then we all went to eat at the tables. After finishing, we were able to go play for lunch recess. We all jumped, jogged, and screamed in the basketball areas. It was a good lunch after all.
